We're in that weird transition-y time of the season where it's still definitely summer, but no one really wants to buy another crop top or bathing suit. I don't, anyway. So I can't help but look at my fall prospects, especially since NYFW is coming up, and I'm going for the first time in over a year! I'm going to be covering shows and parties for Ask Miss A, where I'm a fashion editorial writer, so make sure you check out my Article Page to read what I've already written, and keep up with me when September rolls around.
I'm still working with the idea of making dark colors cool for humid days and nights. But on the other hand, I'm definitely on the hunt for a few solid basics - coats, shoes, bags, etc. - that will work as everyday pieces when I'm back at NYU and the leaves are turning. Although, being that I'm still in New Orleans sweating my eyebrows off, the thought of a crisp fall day is nothing but a beautiful memory.
