Five Piece French Wardrobe, Revisited

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you may remember how I was fixated on the idea of the 5 Piece French Wardrobe last year. The premise is that you buy only 5 items each season, excluding basics and accessories under $150. The idea is that you'll stop spending money on lots of things that are cheap, but that you'll only wear a few times. It worked out really well for me, except I got a little too nazi-ish and stopped allowing myself to buy anything, at which point the list disintegrated. Now, I'm revisiting the idea in a bit of a different way, being that I'm moving to France in 2 months. I'm on the hunt for summer things that will transition well into my fall Paris wardrobe. My findersKEEPERS dress and Ecote sandals will be perfect, I think. Below are some other things that fall into the summer wishlist/mandatory Parisian items category (which is a pretty large category. I'm really restraining myself here, people).

Love the concept, but I don't have the willpower to do it. I shop too often for trend items! My closet would be more manageable if I could do this though!
