Most of my life involves standing in front of the fawn tapestry in my living room and posing in my majestic eagle socks. Life in the city is swanky like that. In a few days I'll post some pictures of our shenanigans at the brooklyn flea. It'll be raunchy. Just kidding.

just like the morning dew
Early fall has now arrived, and with it comes a sense of expectation, as well as things coming to an end. I'm looking forward to trying new things, reading all my coursework books and more, embracing whites and pinks rather than all-black in the cold weather, and cultivating new friendships. I'm also dealing with the sensation of being newly alone.
You should read Sarah and Laura's blogs, they're rully gud.

en route to the hat
So remember that time I was casually posing against a Mercedes? I was on a Fashion's Night Out jaunt with my friends and was accosted to take part in a Derek Lam competition, where a bunch of girls on the street pose in their outfits and then are entered to go to the Derek Lam show this season! It would be an amazing opportunity, so if you feel moved to vote for me, please do!! Simply click on the link and search for "Francesca". Love you guys.

and god created shoes
photos from nasty gal and urban outfitters
Fall shoes are possibly the best things on the planet, following my family and Twin Peaks and omelets. I've been looking at some dangerously beautiful heels on the interweb, and I'm thinking of taking the plunge and swiping my Jeffrey Campbell V-card. What are your opinions on the shoes above? Is Jeffrey Campbell overrated? Are spike heels the new wedges? Will I pass my french class this semester? All the answers to these questions and more will be answered in time.
