The cold weather has arrived. The chill in the air, however, can't extinguish the warmth in my heart that was cultivated over this Thanksgiving weekend. It was beyond amazing to take a load off from college and enjoy my family, friends, and amazing boyfriend. I wish I had pictures to share, but my film camera battery died at the most inopportune moment. All I have are memories.

Happy thanksgiving! I've been having a great few days. My a cappella group the NYU N'harmonics did a cover of the Bed Intruder song (see below), and it went viral, thanks to Perez Hilton. So this morning we had the chance to sing on PIX11 news! It was so fantastic, I love those talented people so much :) And today I'm seeing my boyfriend, who lives in New Orleans. I miss him. He gave me the shirt I'm wearing currently. I hope you all have a wonderful week with your loved ones; I know I will.

My major in college is such that, during my junior year I spend an entire year abroad, rather than just one semester. They really want us to immerse ourselves in another language and culture. I thought that I was going to Paris, but now it looks like I'm going to be traveling to Florence instead. I'm getting used to the idea, because Paris was my first choice, but now I think it might be a fantastic idea. I've never connected with my Italian heritage before, and if I want to be an opera singer, Italy is the obvious choice. I think I'm just craving travel and change.

K, time for some disgustingly shameless self-promotion. My AMAZINGBEAUTIFULAMAZING a cappella group The N'Harmonics has been featured on Perez Hilton! It's so cray cray. There is a video on YouTube and Vimeo of us singing the Bed Intruder song. FYI, we arranged it and learned it literally hours before performing it in the above video. It's totally not our best song, please please look at our other videos to see how truly talented everyone is. But check out the post and the video for a silly time. I'm the one on the left hand side with the American Apparel zip leotard, hehe.

I'm just chilling out, listening to Chelsea Wolfe and trying to write my new novel. It's coming along, just more slowly than I remember my other two going. It's frustrating, because I know that I've learned so much about writing since my other two books, but this one is so much harder. Maybe I'm just more afraid.

Hey y'all. I was obviously a flapper for Halloween, but a mint green flapper. I basically just used a dress I already had but had never worn, and fixed it up with Michael Kors platforms and thigh highs. The only part I bought was the feathered headband, from Etsy.
