La Challenge, Deux

Here we go again, kids! I know you remember my super fantastic contest with ChickDowntown.com I did a little while ago for that gorgeous Mink Pink dress. I'm doing another one with chickdowntown, this time for this Tolani scarf. The colors are what immediately attracted me, I could imagine throwing this on over a thousand outfits. Anyway, the rules are the same as before:
* All you have to do is leave a comment and include your EMAIL ADDRESS (don't mean to shout, but some people forgot last time and I felt bad)
* You do NOT have to be a blogger to win this!
* Only US citizens may enter
* You have 1 week to enter, and I will email the winner as well as announcing it here. I will also mention it on my Twitter
Comment away baybayysss...

(Parentheses)

My thoughts are jumbled right now, so bullet points seem to be the best option:
* My weekend was really weird. I'm either at a party where I feel too old, or at a party where I wish people knew how young I was.
* I would like to do more outfit posts, but all of my outfits seem to revolve around not knowing how to dress for the weather, and then I just wind up putting on my docs.
* I didn't have music school this weekend, and I missed it, but I'm bugging because of all of the songs I have to learn for opera and for harp. I'm currently butchering the waltz of the flowers...can't wait till my pedal harp arrives.
* I wish I was already in college. Fuck this applying thing...

Tout le Monde Cherche Quelque Chose à Faire

It's kind of weird to me that people are getting SO intense about everything being super politically correct and trying to make everyone agree with everyone else on their blogs recently. I started thinking about this after reading this post on The Stylish Wanderer, because people's reactions were totally blown out of proportion, in my humble opinion. She is a notoriously sweet blogger, and she was simply expressing her opinion on a certain style of dress. It's her blog, people don't have to comment on it if they're going to say something rude. She wasn't talking badly of any specific person, and she has the freedom to say what she likes! I don't think she should have to edit her post to make nice with any people whom she doesn't even know, just so their feelings won't be bent out of shape. It's just fashion people; try not to take everything so seriously. Okay, rant over :)
In other news, HAPPY WEEKEND!! Gahh I thought it would never come.

Custo Barcelona
Sunday I was off to the tents- I went to Custo Barcelona and Vassilios Kostetsos. My pictures from Kostetsos are better because I was front row and my shots from Custo are from the sixth row and therefore not as lovely :) I really liked Custo, the colors were fabulous and it had a gypsy/mermaid thing going on that was really fun and exotic. I didn't really like Kostetsos however; it was repetitous and some of the fabrics didn't look like the best quality. However, I will never refuse an invite to a fashion show, and it was a lovely end to a chaotic weekend that was an interesting mixture of intensive harp playing and intensive, um, frat parties. Also, I don't know if you can tell from these pictures, but I've lopped off quite a bit of my hair; hope you like it.

L'Opera avec Quatre-Quarts
Went with two friends, Sarah and Sarah, to see Macbeth as presented by the Metropolitan Opera on a big screen in Lincoln Center. It was a fabulous night, encompassing indian food followed by cupcakes from Magnolias, large and crazy mezzo sopranos, searching for DEBBIE! and ending the night goofing around on the new steps at Alice Tully Hall. I've been feeling so down lately that this was a nice change of pace.
