Des Jeunes
Hedi Slimane has posted a collection of photos he has taken of London teenagers. I like these photos because unlike some of his other work, which features rumpled but gorgeous model types, the characters documented here are real people, with real expressions and real awkwardness. Because you know I love awkwardness. I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

Aaaah yes, I read about this and then forgot to click on the link that actually showed me the pictures. They're good. Is the first one the couple that agreed to pose naked?

oh yes i so agree with you! i love how it's so "real" and none of the glam and glitzy side of it!
ahah i love the awkwardness in the woman's positioning in the first photo. awkward draws me in too. thats why i love shows like extras and the office UK style.

I love how simple and yet powerful these are.. imagine looking back at these photos years from now.. it'd be iconic, imo. The awkward generation. I like that.
