1. Abaete
My favorite collection so far. The clothes were crafted painstakingly with minute details like visible seams and tissue-thin petticoat layers, all done in cloudy pastels.

2. ADAM
ADAM's clothes had such an effortless quality to them because of their draping skills that made the looks perfect for keeping cool (and looking hot).

3. Alexander Wang
I was super excited to see Wang's collection, because his A/W 08 clothes were so, so cravable. However, I was disappointed this season. His clothes seemed like they were trying too hard to be cool and edgy, and the designer himself even admitted that he had been influenced by what his customers had told him to do. Next time he should stay truer to himself, I think.

4. Three as Four
I'm a girl who likes a fair bit of structure in her clothes, but I must admit I was swept away by the filmy clothes of Three as Four. They were like clouds-flattering, complex, fashionable clouds.

5. Vena Cava
Vena Cava said that their inspiration for S/S 09 was ancient Egypt, made modern. This was translated into regal, floor sweeping dresses and skirts, serious metal accessories and kooky patterned trousers and leggings.
